Over The Rainbow Crafts and Dyeworks

  • Our family has been working with dyes for over 25 years and exhibit them mainly at music festivals.  We work hard to ensure that festival patrons, promoters, performers, and other vendors always have a positive festival experience!  Get out to a festival and enjoy the magic of live music..It's something you have to experience!

  • Big News at Over the Rainbow!
We have some exciting new designs and lots of beautiful new colors for you to enjoy.  We have been hard at work this past year getting these ready for our 2011 festival season.  We hope to bring something extra special to each and every festival we work this year.  For starters, at each of the first 3 festivals on our schedule we will be giving away a pair of tickets to the Southern Shore Music Festival (the fourth festival on our schedule). You only need to sign up at our booth for the drawing, we will have info on the festival at our booth.  There is nothing quite like the vibe at a really good music festival to inspire and excite your emotions.

At our first festival, Camp Jam in the Pines, we will again be hosting a tie dye workshop for the kids.  Just be sure to bring a cotton tee shirt to dye, all other supplies will be provided.  It is a lot of fun and we love seeing the kids wearing their creations at the next Jam.  At our next festival, NEPA Bluegrass, we have been asked to design a stage backdrop for the Progressive Stage; they run a traditional and a progressive stage there. It is great to see young people being encouraged in this way. We will be creating something special just for the show, hope it is half as good as the acts we got to see there last year.  They do a great job at NEPA Bluegrass!  After NEPA will be heading to Wind Gap for more bluegrass at Harry Grant’s show, Wind Gap Bluegrass, which has long been a favorite of ours.  Harry books some of the best talent available on the bluegrass scene today.

We are looking forward to festival season this year more than ever.  In the recent past we have had to limit our attendance due to family commitments, but things look good for us this year, allowing us to get involved in many more projects and events. We are even getting ready to open an online store with Google Checkout for your shopping pleasure.  Lots to be excited about this year.  With all the terrible news in our world today, we want to create some positive changes by sharing some good music, good times and great art that might just inspire you to go out and make some great music and art of your own to share.  We look forward to seeing you at one of the shows we have listed. Be sure to check in often to see what else we are up to.
